Integrating the Extended Transformation Team

CURRENT SITUATION.

Zespri is in the final stages of selecting an external transformation partner who will be joining the internal team to form an extended transformation team.

This will be the first time the two groups of people will be working closely together and therefore being able to integrate the partner team into the culture of the wider business and team and also getting to build relationships with the internal team and stakeholders quickly will be important.

BUILDING A HEALTHY, HIGH PERFORMING TEAM - INTERNAL TEAM.

Outcomes

To create an experience which:

  • introduces the internal team to the motto and values of the transformation team

  • team members get to know each other better

  • creates team energy

  • builds personal connections

The Experience

The experience is divided into two halves with the morning working β€œon” the team and the afternoon being more about health, happiness, fun and getting to spend time with each other.

The morning will be facilitated by myself with the input for the first session from the internal team.

  • Session One: Internal team shares purpose, identity, legacy, motto - through an exercise (I will co-create the framework for them)

  • Session Two: Understanding our Team Social Styles ( A fun and useful session which acts as an icebreaker amongst the team members, helps them get to know each other better and will also be an opportunity for the teams to practice clear communication and feedback)

  • Healthy Lunch

  • Session Three: Interactive and Engaging Team Activities - 90 minute session on a topic that speaks to resilience and the avoidance of burnout. A topic such as creating healthy habits, body chemicals impact on performance and wellbeing.

  • Session Four: Building Resilience & Healthy Habits - a topic explores how the physiology of the body and our routines impact our health. This session will help build resilience and create habits to avoid burnout.

Investment

The investment for the workshop would include:

  • Scoping and sign off meetings with Angie

  • Zoom call preparation for Internal Team leads - session one

  • Send out social styles questionnaire, collate, design and develop session

  • Workshop delivery (AM) - Sally Doherty

  • Workshop Delivery (PM) - Lead Facilitator Sally Duxfield

  • Post-workshop debrief
